If you have any suggestions to add here, please email us for consideration.
HEDDON LAWS FARM
A walk of around 4 1/2 miles. Relatively flat but plenty of stiles to climb over. We recommend sturdy footwear as you're crossing quite a few fields.
THROCKLEY BANK TOP
A walk of around 4 Miles, when you go down you have to come back up! Two steep banks whichever way you do this walk. Just imagine getting the train every day?
HEDDON STEAD & NURSERY
A walk of around 3 1/2 Miles, this is a relatively flat walk across fields and along country roads that takes you under the A69 in a circle back to the church. There are a few stiles and challenges in finding the route across the fields. Well worth it though!
AROUND CLOSE HOUSE
A walk of around 4 miles, this walk takes you around and though Close House Golf Course. You can detour along the river at the bottom of the walk, should you wish, which can take you away from the sometimes busy dismantled railway track.
BLANEY ROW & THE TYNE
Approx 4 1/2 miles, this walk takes you down to the Tyne and a walk by the river before you have to rise once again back to Heddon. Well worth it though! Some steep areas beginning and end!
